After Effects, Procreate

Description

For this project I was commissioned by the writer of this poem to animate it. I chose to combine what is literally being said in the poem with representations of its meanings that at times are hard to easily understand on one's own. I used a mixture of frame by frame in Procreate and After Effects to animate this. The poem is read by the poet himself in the audio recording.
