Procreate, After Effects

Description
This was an entirely frame by frame animation I did in Procreate. I wanted to achieve surreal imagery and visual double meaning, inspired by mainly Dali and O'Keeffe. The shadow of the bull's skull is momentarily both a realistic shape it could take on and the silhouette of a cat. My intent with the very busy scene of having many things moving besides the shadow cat and rat was to create something that people would watch repeatedly to absorb all the details of it.
The original music for this piece was made by my friend Willy Nordt.
