Description

For this piece I wanted to play on visual double-entendre and have parts of different bodies forming the shape of the other ones in the scene. The use of different skin tones was not only used for aesthetic purposes, it also pertains to the piece's meaning. The meaning of this piece is about how some people of all races continue to be against mixing of their own race. I find this to be not only racist, but also futile because in not too many generations the vast majority of individuals will be of mixed descent. While this meaning is definitely hard to figure out without context, I tried to portray it with subtly in a few ways. This is why I chose a dynamic and seemingly ever-changing background and people of different skin color coinciding in the composition.
